Cylinders

E.F. Britten & Co., Inc., offers a full line of disposable and refillable carbon steel cylinders. All of our cylinders are made from 1008/1010 cold rolled steel, and are copper brazed in our own controlled atmosphere brazing furnaces. Cylinders are available in sizes ranging from 25 milliliters through 2.4 liters, with operating pressures from 240-600 psi, with threaded inlets (1/8” through 3/4” NPT or NGT) on one end. Meeting exacting standards set forth by the Department of Transportation, all stock cylinders are certified to DOT-4B or DOT-39-NRC specifications. Non-DOT cylinders for your special projects are available by special order.
